It’s true. Some call it procrastinating, I guess. I’m not really a procrastinator but I guess I feel like with certain things if I continue to ignore it or let it run it’s course, maybe it will work itself out and I won’t have to take action.

In most cases, this is completely false. Either things never change or they completely spin out of control. In light of that, I think I’ve finally come to a place in my life where I no longer accept either of those circumstances. I’m taking charge and making changes and keeping things IN CONTROL from now on. I set out this year to live my life in a way that is best for me. In some cases most cases this has involved challenging myself to step out of my comfort zone. I think, despite the many lows of 2010, this year is shaping up to be an integral year in my life. Lots of growth on my end, but there is still lots of room for more growth!

So enough of my self-reflection. Time for some fun blog topics! First off.. Best Movie of 2010. Yes, I realize 2010 isn’t quite over yet but I don’t see another movie winning this title. I’ve seen Inception twice already. Absolutely BRILLIANT movie. I haven’t seen a movie that creative, original, mind-blowing since The Matrix, which incidentally almost even has the same sorta theme. It’s nice to watch a movie that completely challenges you to think and discuss and just completely engages your mind. So amazing. If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favor and see it in the theaters. You won’t regret it. Just make sure you pay attention! It’s one of those movies that might completely confuse you if you aren’t paying attention.

And secondly, new blog layout by the super talented Tawni over at Forever Design Studio! She’s also going to help me with a little surprise for my Dad which I’m really excited about! I gotta get cranking on all the details though so I can get it done as soon as possible! Anyway I still need to set up the pages and add a bit more stuff in the columns but let me know what you think! I promise I will definitely be posting on a more regular basis now as well as finding some more blogs to connect with!

@Tawni: I promise the trailer is much more confusing than the movie! It’s definitely not a movie where you can just sit back and relax your mind. It makes you think! Even though it’s complicated, if you’re paying attention it explains everything!

I don’t have a particular interest in seeing that movie, but I have heard good things about it. We’ll probably wait until it comes out on DVD, lol. We’re cheap. HAHA.

@Angel: Awww I don’t blame you. I’m pretty cheap too. :X So I bring my own drink and popcorn! LMFAO But yeah it’s really good. I wasn’t all about seeing it either but it’s amazing. Definitely will buy it on Blu-Ray!
