I was doing so good about posting at least once a week, but I ruined that streak last week. I partly blame my Birthday still. Between Final Fantasy XIII and then The Sims 3: Ambitions. I pretty much wasted all my free time away playing FFXIII and then when Ambitions came out (and I got it as a late Birthday present) that basically consumed my entire week last week. OKAY MOVING ON!

A few things I want to mention:
(because I have the attention span of a gnat)

  • Weight Watchers
  • Movies
  • Dream Journaling
  • So first off then, Weight Watchers has still been going really well! Last week I weighed in and lost 2.6 pounds! Which was so surprising to me because I ate pizza, hot dogs and ice cream over the course of the week! I couldn’t believe it! That’s why I love Weight Watchers. You don’t have to sacrifice the things you love to eat, you just have to balance them out with what you eat for the rest of the week! Then it was pretty exciting because I was tweeting about Weight Watchers and a friend of mine, Tamara was very interested in learning more about it. She determined she couldn’t afford to join right now but I linked her to a few websites and encouraged her to try and do it without joining! So she decided to give it a go with her husband and had their first weigh-in on Sunday! She was so pleased with their results she was extremely grateful for my help! So that made me feel pretty good! It’s nice to have someone else along for the journey too. :)

Regarding Movies, I decided to give Netflix another go since I have an Xbox 360 now so I’ve been watching a movie every night so I can complete my 100 Movies in a Year challenge on Bliss MB. I’ve been watching Romantic Comedies mostly. Ones that came out that I never heard of or some older ones that came out when I was too busy watching Disney movies over and over to give a chance. A couple worth mentioning: Only You with Robert Downey Jr. which was absolutely adorable and Love and Other Disasters with Brittany Murphy which was hilarious and cute as well. I also went to see Killers on Sunday with my little sister which was really funny as well. Problem is, sometimes when I watch movies they inspire me. I guess that’s not a problem, but as previously mentioned, I have the attention span of a gnat. I jump from one thing to the other like nobody’s business. It’s actually quite bothersome.

So for a while my imagination has been sorta running rampant and especially in the topic of dreams. I don’t know why but I’ve always been really fascinated by the purpose of them and the meaning of them, So I’ve decided to find a cute little journal so that I can start keeping track of the dreams I’ve been having (which have been really bizarre lately). Not really for any purpose just because I want to start writing. Mostly for my own benefit as a sort of outlet and since I’ve been having really crazy dreams and I’ve always been intrigued by them, I figured they’re probably important enough to be remembered, right? Anyway, it’s all pretty silly but exciting and it feels good to have something anyway. I feel so disconnected lately and I guess what better way to spend my time than to think about my life and do some soul-searching. So.. what about you guys? Dreams. Are they just our minds clearing out or do you think they have meaning?

I’m going to try and blog on a more regular basis again. This is also important for self-discovery, right? I also wanted to share a couple things I discovered that I had intended to blog about a couple weeks ago!

  • Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans – I don’t remember how I stumbled upon this place, over twitter maybe? But it’s a great resource for ladies trying to get healthy! Lots of healthy tips and motivation to be found!
  • Scentsy – A friend of mine on Facebook is hosting a Scentsy party. If you like scented candles but hate leaving candles lit or the toxic fumes candles sometimes give off. You might consider trying Scentsy! Scentsy is flame-less, soot-less, lead-less and safe. A 25-watt bulb heats up a high grade paraffin wax in a decorative warmer. Since there is no flame, you never have to worry about leaving it on when you have some errands to run. There are lots of scents available and so many cute scentsy warmers! (I have my eye on the zebra-print one!)
  • Anyway! That does it for now. Hope you all are having a wonderful week! Now it’s time to go comment on some fellow blogs! Toodles!

Those candles seem like a good idea. My dad’s a fireman so I was never allowed candles in my bedroom – they seem like an awesome alternative.
